Yet another WWII book and yet another angle. It was very interesting to get the view of a secret agent, falling from the sky on a parachute over France. A female agent. It was well-written and very witty at times*, but I was surprised at how often it went over to romance and focused less on her secret work. It was not very clear, for instance, what she had to do when she was in a farm in the french countryside. But it was still very enjoyable and thrilling until the end, which is a to-be-continued one, as this is part of a series.

* I especially enjoyed a section when Marion does something very brave and the narrator describes the scene in detail, then adds: "And she's in tears. Fucking bloody silly girlish tears."
