Long overdue reread. I enjoyed it as much as the first time, if not more. MJL has a knack for mixing the academic with the fictional, her characters jump vividly from the page making you feel for them at every step. You can tell there was a lot of work behind this and I truly appreciate that she is as good a researcher as she is a writer.
Truly enjoyable piece of literature and one of those rare books I would recommend to anyone.
