BOOK/ARC REVIEW
Fractured by R. Phillips
“The love that brought on great wars and ended kingdoms.”
Wow—Woah—Mic Freakin Drop—First, buckle up because this is going to be a long one. Second, (and I promise this will be the last time I say this…okay maybe not. I mean if R. Phillips keeps give us stories, this might just be my thing with her now) but I finished this one in bed and just stared at my ceiling with the words that are written within these pages that makes you feel all the emotions. So here’s to my review just trying to do this one justice, again.
R. Phillips knew exactly what she was doing, toying with all of our hearts through the whole story of El, of Jace, and of Coop. Now as you know I love a good love triangle, when there is a decision made. I don’t want the FMC to end up with both guys, if you ask me that’s cop-out in my eyes. With that being said, this is a love triangle and a decision is made. BUT this story wouldn’t exist without all three of them, each of them is important in their own way to the story. And even though (and if you follow me, I made a decision, on a team if you could say) but I STILL love all three of them equally.
The story. The ending. Can I say that I LOVE this ending, while I had own ideas and thoughts and opinions (and I am not confirming whether I was right or not) this ending is way better than what I could have expected. R. Phillips putting you through the wringer for the first two books but then it’s as if she bakes you your favorite cake and gives you the warmest of hugs to apologize. That’s how I felt reading this one, it’s the ending I didn’t think I needed but got. AND I AM OBSESSED!!
In the words of Taylor Swift, it’s the ending of an era, that’s how I feel reading and finishing this one. Starting with Entangled, then Bound and now Fractured. I’m not really sure where to go, what to do next, but just knowing that El, Jace and Coop’s story is completed and full and endless it makes my heart happy.
“I will always choose you.”
