The Damselfly by Susi (S.J.I.) Holliday, Susi (S.J.I.) Holliday

5.0

As with the previous one, you don't need to have read the first two to read this one, but if you do, you'll get a better feel for the people in this story, and the town's life in general.

That said, this is yet another great story. Multiple story-lines, different perspectives, a well-maintained tension, and a mystery that no matter what, I was unable to dispel until the end of the book.

One of the things I enjoyed the most was Katie's character, who, even when she's dead most of the book, keeps evolving through those who knew her. And as a reminder of our times, and the way the things are, we have a blog and Facebook to highlight how quickly things can get out of our hands in the digital era.

The end comes with a punch, and wow! I won't spill the beans, but just... wow!

My only regret is that I simply couldn't wait to begins this book at a time I'd have had uninterrupted time to enjoy it, but that's why re-reads happen.

An extraordinary end to the trilogy
