The Good Liar by Nicholas Searle

3.0

Engagingly written novel with an interesting, if somewhat historically flawed premise. At times a little too long, with some chapters leaving the reader to wonder what their purpose is, particularly in retrospect. And the shifting perspectives and chronology, while overall an interesting narrative device that by and large works for this novel, become both a bit tedious and a bit oddly disjointed toward the end.
