This was a ok. I read it quickly and didn’t hate the characters. But it wasn’t great and I didn’t love them either. It was a little boring and totally predictable. But the ending ruined it for me.

I actually really liked this book when it first started but then it very quickly went downhill for me.

I never really connected with the characters so I didn’t really care all that much if they got together. And I was not impressed that the entire premise was based on a lie.

And then the ended sealed the deal. I really hated the ending, especially the twist and how it all played out. It didn’t feel like real life. And it was such a lazy way for everyone to find out. And he just got away with it? I don’t buy it. There were so many ways the beans could have gotten spilled and that’s what the author picked. I would have liked any other option better. I also was super irritated at Dominic and his complete abandonment. Even Shea’s reaction made me roll my eyes. Now you have a problem with any of it? And like you couldn’t see this coming? I struggled to feel sorry for her.

Also I super disliked them allowing her into the studio to have their make up play out over live radio. I can suspend disbelief with the best of them but come on. I rolled my eyes through the entire last few chapters. Also 3 months and they moved in together?

It just fell off the rails for me and it started out so good. Because man do I love me a good podcast. So I was super disappointed in the way it all ended it. I don’t understand why it went that way and I didn’t enjoy it.
