Bride by Ali Hazelwood
emotional
funny
tense
fast-paced
5.0
I went into this with no expectations and Ali knocked it out of the park.
The setup of how vampires (or I guess vampyres) work bugged me ever so slightly, but not in a way I couldn't get over. And there's just enough politics to make the conflicts clear without being suffocating.
Misery is just the best, and her deadpan, snarky sense of humor is what I want to have when I grow up.
