This book was really good but I wasn’t really a big fan of the writing. I also felt like Rufus’ dialect (like ny dialect) was so forced. It just didn’t sound natural. Every five seconds he was saying “mad” which was beyond annoying. I also wished that it showed like a few years into the future and how Mateo’s dad dealt with the news and how Lidia kept him alive. But I loved the story and the concept and watching Mateo becalmed braver and more comfortable.
