Hero at the Fall
by Alwyn Hamilton
Okay so I’m finally finished this series and WOW that was a hell of a ride. First of all I love Amani, Sam Shazad and Ahmed. They were my favssss. The plot was the beauty of these books, you had to watch every little things because in the end everything was important. I LOVE THAT.
Hamilton is the queen of writing folklore and legends and twisting them into the plot.
But for me it was missing something. Don’t get me wrong I’m gonna be thinking about Amani for a very long time. But I didn’t like Jin. But see I did like him. AHH CONFLICTED. I liked how he wasn’t this overbearing knuckle head who got jealous of every guy Amani spoke to. I just wish there was more to him. He grew on me in book 3. But I was not impressed with him in book 2. Once again I love Sam and he deserves the world. Hamilton has left lots of doors open to return to this world and I hope she does!
