Unhinged is the sequel to Splintered. It also starts about a year after that book finished. Which, okay, it was a bit weird to me because I really enjoyed Alyssa and Jeb in the first one but wasn't a huge fan of them this time around. He just seemed to exist just to be there or make Alyssa do something. So I just felt like he didn't really need to be in the book anymore. Or in her life.
Besides not liking their little relationship anymore, I'm not even sure how I feel about the little hints of a love triangle. I mean, yeah, I can see how she could be attracted to Morpheus.. but she just needs to calm down and focus on herself.
Take away the romance weirdness and this was a pretty interesting book that gave me more questions than answers. I look forward to diving into the next one just to see what madness she is going to fully embrace. I want it all.
