I wish I had more time to give this book consecutively. Wow. It had me in shock and omg the writing. I loved the style of past and present and documenting the chapters by time. I loved June and micks storyline in the beginning and the dynamic of all the siblings. I will say I somehow felt compassion for mick in the end despite the hardship the kids went through. I feel like even when I knew things were gonna go wrong my jaw was still on the floor when it happened. The writing is so blunt but paints a picture so well. I’m so happy for Nina’s character development and loved the gay plotline that wasn’t addressed too heavily bc it def was not the time to address that with the short time frame of the book but it was nice to see kit discovering herself. Honestly such a great book.
