This was a solid read. I thought the world & magic were super interesting and it had a decent plot line. I will say that it does take a little bit to get into and in some ways it just feels very similar to other romantasy books. That’s kinda where it falls short for me. I do think there’s still some uniqueness to it and really enjoyed the pirate vibes. I would definitely like to point out that there’s no “Vikings” in this book. The characters are interesting and likable. I definitely think I will be continuing the series!
