This book is sexy and captivating! I simply could not put this book down due to its fast paced plot and its exciting characters…
It starts off in an intriguing way and it didn’t lose my interest the whole way through. I didn’t realise from the summary that it would be set in a modern world with technology which is always a fun setting for paranormal books and makes them more relatable. The plot was fast paced and I didn’t find a single dull moment in the whole book! It gave me ACOMAF feels but in a less complicated world setting.
Rowan, the female protagonist, is interesting and I enjoyed reading her developments throughout the story. She was realistic in remembering her issues and not just swept up in the male characters' story. Orion is definitely a new book boyfriend in my head and the sexual/romantic build up in this book is phenomenal. This book was quite the spicy slow burn and I adored it!
x
The lore was seriously interesting and it wasn’t just dumped onto the reader. It was explained in a very easy to understand and natural way which I appreciated.
Brilliant ending - I’m having to restrain myself from just reading the next book straight away. I am so glad this is a series and I seriously recommend it to people who like YA fantasy/paranormal books.
