This is like  very happily 4 stars. I found this really engaging especially once I got into it. I appreciated that the stakes felt higher and it went harder than a typical YA book. Honestly until the end, it would’ve gotten closer to a 5 stars but I found the ending a bit…underwhelming and left me feeling like “uh ok now what”. Guess that’s the beauty & pain of a duology so I’ll be picking that up now ;)
