But what a pretty prison it is."

I'm - wow. This book was not at all what I expected. I mean NOTHING like I expected. It completely exceeded any expectations I had and let me have my jaw-drop moments.

Auren, the main character was such a wonder to learn about. She was so unique and I found her quite interesting. It was nice that we got an insight into her mind and grew to understand her even more. I loved that! I do wish to know some more about her though, but for now, I'm happy with what I learned about her.

The plot of this book was tense, steamy and exciting. (in more ways than one, I can assure you). The story was so interesting! I'm not sure how to explain it without spoiling it but all I can say is, you're in for a ride!

Raven Kennedy's writing style is swift, easy to read and quite very descriptive. Each scene I was able to play out in my head, almost like a movie, a movie I didn't want to end.
Also, King Midas retelling? You had my attention and you still have it!!

I highly recommend this book! I was blown out of my mind! (fan-girl moment
