The story is laid out as Nesta's redemption arc with a sprinkling of the other characters. If you hate Nesta, only care about the core inner circle, or are looking for a plot-driven story, this may not be the book for you. ACOSF is a quick read and scratches the surface of several characters' depression, anxiety, and self-loathing. I don't mind Nesta as a character and found SJM's approach to her story interesting, but not earth-shattering enough for 757 pages.
