This was a quick read and good read. The way masterpiece setup the scene it felt like watching an urban romance movie from the 90s. Alize was that girl! Strong, confident, big heart, had ambition and went for hers. She went through a lot with Rich that she didn’t have to since a young age. However, when God is really trying to make you leave something bad He’ll break you so you grow into the person you’re meant to be. The betrayal that happened to Alize was messed up but it dang sure was for the best. Even the storyline with her mother and how she handled that was good. My girl wasn’t going to break.

Now Cook was Big Dawg and was given a lot of respect while being low key with it. He definitely didn’t mind opening up but of course it takes the right person. She didn’t mind being open with him either. Once he seen how Alize moved which was similar to him my guy was on her. Him falling first was so cute. Truly enjoyed their love, the spice and boss mentality.
