The Rabbit Hunter by Lars Kepler

3.0

The Rabbit Hunter is the sixth novel from the husband and wife duo of Lars Kepler. The book describes sex crimes, so reader discretion is advised.

The point-of-view character of the novel provides an unreliable narrator with a dark secret, who is witness to a horrible chain of events, with his involvement remaining ambiguous throught the story.

The book has two interwoven, yet unique narrative strands that come together in the climax to mercifully answer the dangling plot threads which are created throughout. The twist in the finale is very unexpected, so kudos if you can figure it out.

The book really shines on second read, as you can pick up on some of the nuances lost on first read. I power read through this book so I recommend it for long bouts of reading.
