Lovely stuff. It isn’t quite Le petit prince, but it reminded me of it a bit, and that means a lot in a world with very few books like Le petit prince. This one has much simpler and more straightforward messages, à la “be kind to yourself and others” and “love is the most important,” but presented so sweetly and sincerely that it worked for the most part. Definitely a book potentially enjoyed by all ages, and I had the thought while reading that it could be a nice one for a new or struggling reader due to the simplicity and illustrations combined with the gentle thoughtfulness, though they might struggle with the handwriting, depending. It would make an excellent gift, and I think I might just want a copy myself.
