I would say if you like cozy mystery and want to dip into the less fluffy side of the genre or if you are wanting to try out mystery in general, this book is a good starting point. You’ve got a multi-character cast and an interesting and straightforward plot that is muddied slightly by the fact the all of the characters have little secrets of their own that kind of tie them all together.
I will say the ending was a bit disappointing to me and felt super rushed. It felt like everything had been perfectly plotted only for the author to come up against a deadline and smoosh everything together messily.
