The Divorce Papers
by Susan Rieger
I picked this book up randomly from the "new" shelf at the library. I was intrigued by the "epistolary" (hope I spelled that correctly!) style...and the bright pink cover. I needed something a bit lighter after my WWII YA book and this fit the bill. It is over 450 pages and I finished it in 2 days, which I think is a record for me. It held my interest and the style (the entire story is told via emails, notes, memos, legal documents, etc...)made it a quick read. It wasn't anything terribly deep, just the saga of a 30-something attorney who gets roped into handling a divorce case for the firms biggest client. Despite its heft, I'd recommend it for someone looking for some "light" fare.
