I read an excerpt from this book during a class & just had to read the rest of it. It's not an easy read... the subject matter obviously (what happened to Eliza & Patsy especially was heartbreaking). And the vocabulary is a bit outdated (I had to look up so many words). But it's DEFINITELY worth reading.
