I recommend this book if you like:
-New Adult (NA) fantasy
-action packed story mixed with some romance
-A Legacy of Storms and Starlight (Book 1)

At the end of book one, I was left with so many questions. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this sequel! Thankfully all my questions were answered in this action packed, magical and mysterious story.

Zylah has decided not to let fear rule her, yet the metal in her back is trying to slowly poison and kill her. Zylah and Holt reunite and begin their mission of stopping a war and stopping Zylah from dying.

I loved the use of magic and I think evanescing in real life would be incredibly handy. The author carefully plotted out these stories and the links and clues are very clever.

A surprising and gut wrenching end has left me with wonders of love and loyalty. I believe Raif will end up being loyal to Zylah, he was in love with her afterall. I can’t and I won’t accept that Holt is dead, just like Zylah clinging on to any scrap of him. He is a powerful Fae, surely there is a way through for him? Zylah needs her newly found soulmate. Whatever the outcome, Zylah’s story is not over yet!
