Bombshell by Sarah MacLean

Name is destiny but Sarah won’t tell us the Duchess’ name and this is all I’ll be thinking about for 2-3 years until she reveals it to us.

Anyway. At times this felt like a slog and it’s 50/50 whether that’s down to me or the book. SO MUCH happened in the last 150 or so pages and I feel like we could have gotten there faster. Once again, this could have been me and my reading attention span at the time. Sarah’s books tend to become comforting favorites in the reread/broader context of the series so once we get more Belles I think I’ll love Bombshell more.

Random thoughts: I love all of the sisters Talbot together. I am undone over the fact that Sophie and King
Spoiler NAMED THEIR DAUGHTER AFTER THE TITLE-SEEKING MILKMAID WHAT IN THE WORLD.
Sera and Mal are still all I care about. “Fucking hell, Sesily” did me in every time. I am very impatient for Imogen and Detective Inspector Peck. Can’t wait to see that stodgy Duke of Clayborn laid low by love.
