Although I want to give it a higher rating, I just can’t. While reading this one, I really enjoyed it. This one is a slow burn but it starts off spooky and suspenseful and had me not wanting to put it down. True to Alice Feeney fashion, the ending is full of twists and turns. But when I was done I was left saying “wait, what?” not because I was shocked at the story but mostly because it seemed like there were several plot holes and it just wasn’t adding up. I can’t give away my concerns about plot holes without spoiling the twists but there were several I had with Adam and I can’t look past it. Someone read this book and talk this one out with me because I need answers and clarity if they exist!
