Like many before me this book did not survive it's sophomore outing. Don's personality did not come off quirky and charming like it did in the original. It came off annoying. There was too little Rosie in this book to balance it out and soften the roughness. I think this would have worked better for me had I read the second book much closer to reading the first book. Instead it was many years between the two and I did not enjoy the story line.
