Consort's Glory by Abigail Kelly

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
I saw Consort's Glory  recommended on a subreddit ages ago, and because I hate myself, I recently renewed my Kindle Unlimited subscription, so naturally I decided to check it out.
The writing's not bad and the world-building is halfway decent. I guess my problem is that, at the end of the day, I just didn't care about the characters. Margot is a filler heroine - the reader can imagine herself in Margot's place. Teddy is such an unoriginal hero - he's a combo of the millionaire, fated mates, and elf tropes. Also, I could not get over the fact that he's been waiting for her for 25 year, since the day she was literally born. It's an unhealthy obsession.
In the book's defense, I did stay up until 1:30AM to see them get together, but that's a comment on my lack of self control more than the story's entertainment.
