I am absolutely feral for Nico Kotas and I will not apologise.
The only better compliment for a smart, strong, badass FMC is an overprotective MMC. Scottie and Nico’s chemistry was truly sublime, I ate up every second of it. His indignation for how she’s treated and her exhausted acceptance was almost painful to watch. I really appreciate when sport romances highlight the inequalities prevalent in sports, especially in the media. It always leads to some delicious blow up from the MMC and it is 😈.
This book was an absolute delight. It was smart, charming, steamy, and fun. Justice was served, wrongs were righted, and everyone looked so hot while doing it. I kind of forgot how much I love a sports romance and I fear I have opened a can of worms reading this one. 😂
