This was a lighthearted paranormal romance that was clearly setting up more mysterious shenanigans in the future. Since part of the conflict focused on communication between Griffin and Emily and I couldn't help thinking that there were some plot holes in his misunderstooding of the world around him given his sentience throughout his statued existence.
