( ⭐️4.25) I just randomly picked this book up at a garage sale for $1... obviously not expecting much. However, I really truly enjoyed reading Eleanor’s story! Eleanor started off as a somewhat unlikable main character. She was very hard to get along with and some of the things she did and said was rather cringe worthy.
ENTER RAYMOND.
Raymond was such an amazing guy! His love and support for literally everyone he associated was so humbling! He was everything Eleanor needed!! Seeing her progression (in large part due to Raymond) in this book was so heartwarming!
Lastly, can we talk about the end?! LIKE WHAT?! I really enjoyed the last 25 pages, because it obviously answered a lot of our underlying questions... but it also showed us the real Eleanor! WOW! This was definitely a book that exceeded my expectations!
