Oh. my. god. The things that have happened.
I'm going to treat this kind of like it's the final book in the series (because it was going to be originally) and in this aspect it was almost flawless (to me).
It finished everything off so well.
There was so much character development... or maybe I should say people were finding themselves and changing and it was beautiful to watch.
Of course, a person can't read an Emperor's Edge book without there being blood, fighting, and so much risk. *cough* Amaranthe *cough* This book was just as harrowing.
It may have felt to neatly wrapped up in the end to some people. I'm not one of those people because if anything the crew deserves all the happiness and peace they can get.
