Avalon High
by Meg Cabot
I'm sort of sick of King Arthur - years studying various versions of the story (Malory & other medieval versions) soured me on him - and he was everywhere (Babylon 5, Gargoyles...) but this is worth the pain.
Ellie's parents are medievalists and the family has moved to a new city for their studies. Ellie's coping with being in a new school and trying to find her place. She falls for the football star, conflict ensues with other girls.
The thing is, they're all reincarnations of characters from the Arthuriad. It's assumed that Ellie is the reincarnation of the Lady of Shalott, who she is named after. But is she really? And can she figure out a way for history to stop repeating?
Fun and fluffy.
