I have to say that the two novels of Ursula Poznanski that I've read really convinced me. They weren't excellent or something, but they sure as hell were entertaining af!
I really enjoyed that Erebos picked up speed pretty early on. I couldn't put it down once Nick started the game. I constantly was at the edge of my seat.
The story was interesting. The ending was similar to the story in Saeculum , which I liked. But I hope that it's not a pattern in all of Poznanski's novels because it would become too obvious after a while. But the one thing that bothered me a little bit here was that there was no foreshadowing. At least not much. We had some foreshadowing in Saeculum , but here there was nothing. At least not that I can recall. And I just finished it.
But hey, it's just a small rant of an otherwise pretty good novel.
The characters were alright. Nothing too special but fitting to the story.
The writing was alright as well.
Overall I really liked it. I had a fun day with it and I'm looking forward to reading more of Ursula Poznanski.
