The Latte Factor: Why You Don't Have to Be Rich to Live Rich by David Bach, John David Mann

4.0

I was a bit of a pessimist going into this book, as I was thinking it was just another one of those self-help books by a millionaire telling poor people to 'save up!'. In a way, it is a bit like that, but I genuinely enjoyed the message this book purveyed.

I found the fact that it was written like a fiction novel a bit cheesy, but it unexpectedly made it more palatable and enjoyable to read. The characters were pretty stock - but in a way - I feel many people can relate to the stock character of Zoey, working her 9-5 trying to get ahead in life.
-
The '3 Rules' that it lists are easy enough to apply to your life, and don't neccesarily feel like lofty advice from someone significantly wealthier than you.
After finishing it, It had me doing some serious financial introspection.

The rating is somewhere lost between 3 and 4 stars.
