Little Moons by Jen Storm

5.0

“Grief is messy and complex; it is love with nowhere to go.”

From beading, pow pow, to hair cutting, and spirits, Little Moons is a stunning exploration of the many ways a family copes with grief after losing one of their own. This is a heartfelt presentation of mourning traditions and culture of the author’s Ojibwe heritage. This was short, incredibly moving, filled with beautifully drawn panels. I enjoyed this so much.
