This book made me cry twice, mostly happy tears, but even the slightly sad ones were worth it. I adored Liz as a heroine, and was rooting for her so hard. The assorted cast of characters around her, both friends and enemies, were entertaining (if sometimes predictable). I wish I could have read a book like this when I was a teenager, and so concerned about what others thought about me.
Graphic: Homophobia and Racism
Moderate: Medical content, Chronic illness, Death of parent, and Panic attacks/disorders
