She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement by Jodi Kantor, Megan Twohey

4.0

Ever wonder what it takes to win the Pulitzer for reporting? This is it.

Kantor & Twohey work to gain the trust of their sources and track Weinstein's abuses and cover-ups... while his lawyers and cronies try to stop the investigation with scare tactics and legal threats. The second half of the book covers Christine Blasey-Ford's life-changing decision to go public. In the last section, Kantor & Twohey bring the primary subjects of their articles together for a round-table on how speaking out on their experiences has changed their lives and altered the politics and discourse about sexual harassment.

The writing is quick and tightly-edited; it reads a little like a book-length NYT article. Highly recommended.
