Amazing.
Cassandra Clare wrapped up the trilogy perfectly, while also leaving room for more (aka The Last Hours)! It felt like there was a new plot twist every other chapter and every single second of the book was so interesting. I'm glad we finally got to figure out where Tessa comes from and how she's related to all of the Shadowhunters.
Jem's death was actually the worst and even though it was bittersweet, I'm glad he became a Silent Brother and that they still treated him as the same old Jem. Jessamine's death was also really sad, I was hoping she would be able to redeem herself a bit more :/
OMG the Lightwood brothers! The character development these two had was amazing and they honestly became some of my favourite characters ever.
The relationships in this book were all so perfect. I'm not usually a fan of authors putting every single possible pairing together, but I loved them all, especially Gabriel/Cecily. It was also nice to have the epilogue to know that most of the characters ended up ok.
I cannot wait for The Last Hours!!!
