oh my god, what a way for the Chestnut Springs series!

Beau and Bailey’s individual stories broke my heart! Bailey is incredibly strong, she hasn’t been shown any love, not from her family or the town she calls home, because of her last name everyone assumes she’s trouble and that broke me. I felt so sorry for her and I just wanted to give her the biggest hug because she is the sweetest person! The way she handles it though and bounces back even though she shouldn’t have to go through it made me love her so much!

I’ve been so ready for Beau’s story from the beginning, but especially after powerless, and hearing first hand what he went through and how he’s struggling with it now made me so sad for him. I also found he grew so much as a character. He’s the golden boy of the town and is part of a family that’s considered royalty and to see him properly see Bailey for the first time and understand that there is a completely different side of the coin and Baileys been on it this whole time, warmed my heart. The way he fought for her, fell in love with her and lifted her up was beautiful.

I adored these two together, they were both struggling and found a common ground between them and they held onto each other and helped each other through the tough things and I loved that so much. There was so much tension and chemistry between them as well, I adored Baileys cheeky nature that came out around Beau their flirting was top tier!

I’m honestly heartbroken that this series is over, but I’m forever thankful that I’ve read and loved every second of every book. I shed a little tear at the end because I love these characters so much and I’m going to really miss them!

Elsie Silver I’m so excited to see what you do next because you haven’t disappointed me once!
