What I was hoping for:
Girl plays guy at his own game, guy falls for girl first, fiery chemistry and angst
What I got:
Silly girl, falls in love with him even though she knows his repuation, tries to change him, okay chemistry, not the angst I was hoping for.
Overall, it wasn’t bad and I did enjoy it (for the most part). Things that I hoped were going to happen didn’t but it was a fun read. It took me a while to finish it but I did enjoy the ending and Quinn’s development as a character was a highlight for me.
Emilie I found a bit disappointing, she knew exactly what kind of guy Quinn was and what he did to other girls so I don't know why she was so surprised and upset when he did it to her. Wasn't that the whole reason she was with him in the first place?
Anyway, it was alright. I will probably read it again since I took such a long break with it and I may be remembering things wrong.
