I love anything that Kate Atkinson writes. This was definitely a bit darker than the others I have read and in my opinion a bit more graphic. There are 3 key cases which this book follow, and I liked how at some points, they all interacted without being intertwined. It was 3 incredibly sad cases and I felt the common connecting theme was how society had failed all of these girls in completely different ways, and how long it can take to bring people to justice. Very good, quite sad
Graphic: Pedophilia, Sexual assault, Murder
Moderate: Violence, Abandonment
Minor: Abortion
