“Grudges are heavy, but for the people hurting the most, I suppose forgiveness is even heavier.”

This book was sad and complicated, but so so good. I was kind of skeptical about these characters and the situation when I was first reading (not to mention insta-love is not my favorite) but by the end I was completely in love and rooting for their happy ending. And that is Colleen Hoover at her finest—she writes stories that make you question so many things and realize that not every situation is so black and white. Ledger may also be my favorite book boyfriend she’s ever written…like I said before it took a little for me to get out of the whole insta-love thing at the beginning but seeing him interact with Diem was everything I needed to know. AND THE PLAYLIST AT THE END!!! As soon as it was mentioned in the book, I was dying to know what the songs were—I swear if it wasn’t included I was going to throw hands so thank goodness I didn’t have to 💗
