Meant for Now by Allison Speka

5.0

Meant For Now by Allison Speak is the kind of book that grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go. As a Type A personality myself, I found Frankie incredibly relatable—her world is structured, goal-driven, and suddenly shaken by an unexpected layoff. Enter Oliver: spontaneous, free-spirited, and the total opposite of everything Frankie thought she needed.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and their fling feels both fun and emotionally charged—but what happens when their “now” has an expiration date?

Allison Speak does a phenomenal job of building layered, believable characters. There is no unnecessary filler—every scene serves a purpose, and the pacing is on point. The story flows naturally, making it impossible to stop reading. This is a romance with heart, depth, and just the right amount of tension.

Highly recommend for anyone who loves opposites-attract tropes, well-developed characters, and a story that sticks with you long after the final page.
