This book was not what I was expecting at all - but I totally loved it!  This sweet and spicy rom-com started out with an adorable meet-cute in a grocery store aisle and only got better from there.  Down the Aisle's MMC is a morally gray mafia boss, but I wouldn't consider this a mafia romance.  This book is great for fans of insta-love and obsessive MMCs who would do anything for the woman and family they love.  Eliza's backstory was heartbreaking and I loved seeing her open up and gain her confidence back throughout this story.  While mostly predictable, it was still a fun read, and I'll be interested to read future books in the series.
