Nice boy joins band, takes lots of drugs, sleeps with lots of models and then gets married and settles down in the Cotswolds.
Alex James’s memoir of his hard-partying rockstar years is a fairly lively read - it’s clear that this is his own voice rather than some generic ghostwritten celeb biography. Some of the stories are entertaining, but James ultimately draws no conclusion from them. A bit of a disappointment as this could have been so much better.
