Despite the Very Dramatic Events in this volume (they were dramatic enough that I had to take a break reading it so I could spend a few moments in denial), there's the usual balance between action and character moments, and it's that balance that makes me love the series as much as I do. I'm probably repeating myself a lot, but I love the cast and their relationships SO much.
