Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing
by Jessa Hastings
I truly do like Daisy and Christian and Julian‘s storyline more than Magnolia and BJ.
I think that’s mainly because Magnolia and BJ are toxic and can’t get their shit together .
And I am really a big fan of found family and that’s what the lost boys reminds me of.
I also really love Daisy and Christian . And to be honest, I’m just a big fan of Julian.
At times, it does get a little confusing that there’s three different POVs and sometimes I’m in the middle of it and I’m like wait who is talking again.
I know I’m almost at the end here, but it’s almost like this should be tandem read because the books coincide with each other and are happening on the same timeline. The ending of this book actually ends on a timeline before magnolias did in book 3, which is interesting to me that they didn’t end at the same timeline.
I did like the parts of Magnolia that we got to see in this book because she wasn’t as annoying, and there were times that she truly was quite funny. I loved her little bitch fest with Vanna. And I really love the friendship that’s forming between her and Daisy.
Lastly, my heart broke for Julian in this and I truly do hope that in the last book he finds his happy ending because Julian is 10 out of 10- no notes
