i can’t believe i just read the girlbossification of jezebel.

this was extraordinarily disappointing. and i wish it hadn’t been. this book was almost a blind buy for me, but luckily i restrained myself. because as i said, this was disappointing.

there just weren’t enough details. i wanted luscious descriptions and true introspection, but this was so surface level. which was strange because this book promises fleshing jezebel out BUT THEN USING A LINE FROM KING JAMES’ BIBLE. like that just told me this author did not do like any research. and it being for the narrative just doesn’t cut it either because the narrative was not even that good.

there were some well written scenes and aspects of this book and that’s why it’s not a 1 star, but like they were never integral or long enough.
