City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

So far this is my favourite book in the series. I think it’s due to the fact that a lot of it is told from Simon’s pov and we get to read more about my two favourite couples from TMI. I even enjoyed Jace and Clary’s relationship which I haven’t really done before, and Clary didn’t annoy me at all which was a pleasant surprise.
I loved getting to know more about Isabelle and Alec as individuals, knowing what they fear and how they feel towards relationships, they always felt more like background characters that I didn’t know much about but now I have a better understanding of them and it made me enjoy the book so much more.
The book felt so light all the way through then towards the end it took a dark turn and I just loved all of it and it was so easy to fly through, bring on book five!
