If I could give half stars this would be a solid 4.5. I love that the story is told from three perspectives, all siblings in the same household, all with their own set of problems. I also enjoyed how the book was set during the time of the Challenger launch which allowed the story to truly explore the importance of space in more ways than one. The somewhat dysfunctional family dynamic is at the center of the story and the issues middle schoolers face are also prevalent making this a perfect addition to the classroom library. While I could have used a little more resolution in some parts of the story, I also think that the way it ends shows how much growth the characters experience and how much growing they have yet to do.
